Built on Experience.
Rooted in Quality.
Haughtey Culture is a local, family-run business built around straightforward service, reliable communication and work carried out with care.
Between us, we look after both sides of the business — from the practical work in your garden and around your home to the organisation, communication and customer care behind the scenes.
What's in the name?
Haughtey Culture is, of course, a little play on horticulture — but the “culture” part means something to us too.
We wanted the business to be about more than just getting jobs done. The way we work matters just as much as the end result: showing up, communicating properly, respecting people’s homes, giving honest advice and taking pride in the standard of the work.
The Haughtey part makes it personal. The culture is the standard we want the business to be known for.
Andy Haughtey
Landscaping & Maintenance
The horticulture part...
Andy is the one with the experience, the practical knowledge and, importantly, the ability to tell the difference between something that needs pruning and something that definitely should not be touched.
With more than 25 years of experience, he is the hands-on side of Haughtey Culture and the person responsible for turning plans into finished work.
He takes a straightforward approach to every job: understand what the customer needs, give practical advice, turn up when expected and do the work properly.
His experience is supported by qualifications including CSCS, Management CSCS, PA5, PA6, pole-saw and first aid.

Maisie Haughtey
Customer Care & Behind the Scenes
More of the culture part...
Alongside wrangling two Haughtey toddlers, Maisie keeps Haughtey Culture ticking over while Andy is out doing the work — enquiries, communication, quotations, organisation, marketing and the dreaded admin.
Her gardening experience remains enthusiastically limited, but her background in nursing and product management means she brings plenty of experience in organisation, communication and keeping things running properly.
So while Andy looks after your garden, Maisie is usually helping to make sure the rest of the experience runs smoothly.
Between Us
Haughtey Culture is very much a team effort — just with a fairly clear division of labour.
Andy handles the gardens. Maisie handles the comms and admin.
Together, we aim to give customers the very best of both: experienced, hands-on workmanship and a small business that is easy to deal with and feels like they have your back.
